Hi, my name is Lauren Sawyer, the creator of this fine website biz. I am a full-time student and in my spare time - you guessed it! - I make these websites.
My purpose as a web designer is to keep things practical. In this crazy 21st century, if you are a business owner, writer, artist, musician, etc., you need a website. And since not everyone has the gift of HTML, I'm here to help. But I don't want to rob you.
The reason I keep things so simple is because I like things neat and tidy. It's more of a personality flaw than anything. So if you want dancing penguins swirling around your monitor as folks view your website, I guess I can add them. Of course, I won't be too thrilled about it.
That question is the hardest one you could ask. Why meatloaf? Just because. How's that for an answer?
I am currently a freshman at Indiana Wesleyan University and I am studying journalism with an English minor. I am also a staff writer for IWU's paper, The Sojourn. I hope to one day work for RELEVANT Magazine in Orlando, Florida and maybe (oh, maybe ...) take over the magazine when the CEO retires.
I also would love to be a fulltime non-fiction writer/journalist. And a mom. :-)
